UCI MTB World Cup Maribor 2010

We are glad that after a year, on 15th and 16st May 2010, we can again invite you to watch the best, the fastest, and the most daring mountain bikers in the world.

Mariborsko Pohorje will once again host the Mountain Bike World Cup – Nissan UCI MTB World Cup presented by Shimano, more specifically in both gravity disciplines – 4-cross (4X) and downhill (DH).

Maribor hosted the first Wolrd Cup in 1999 and already then the competitors and journalists chose it for the best organized event of the season in disciplines downhill and duel (today 4-cross). Mariborsko Pohorje became a permanent place in the prestige series for the World Cup and one of its classic scenes where new stars are born and sport legends arise.

Mariborsko Pohorje is not just a synonym for excellent organization it is also one of the scenes which attracts more than 20.000 spectators every year. We are also proud of the 400 registered riders on last year’s event which set a new record in Maribor.

All this and much more is the Mountain Bike World Cup in Maribor.
